32 H&R mag out of nagant?

Off hand, I can't think of a worse handgun for a beginner than a Nagant. The ammo is too expensive for much practice, the trigger pull is bad in SA and horrible in DA, and the sights are fixed. The beginner can't hit anything and rapidly becomes discouraged.

IMHO, the Nagant is an interesting gun, and good as a collectible and (if you have money) a plinker, but a gun for a beginner it is not. In the revolver line, a Ruger Bearcat or Single Six, an S&W Model 17 or better yet a used Kit Gun would be far better.
