I just bought a 3" S&W 632 in 327 Federal, which obviously means I need to start loading every possible cartridge that I could realistically shoot out of this gun - 327 Federal Magnum, 32 H&R Mag, 32 S&W short/long, etc. Missouri Bullet Company seems to have me covered for the 32 H&R and below with their 12BHN 32 bullets, but I'm having trouble finding a source for reasonably priced jacketed (preferably JSP, because it just seems proper) .32 100gr or 115gr bullets for 327 federal loads. Hornady has some hollow points for $17/100, but I am looking for something at or below $10/100 (even if I had to buy a few thousand to get that price point). Also, who has a source for 327 Federal brass? I suppose I can just buy a box of factory ammo every few weeks until I amass enough 327 fed brass to be comfortable, or wait a year or more for Starline to do another run, but it doesn't seem that brass or bullets are at all easy to find in this cool little super magnum.

Try auction sites for brass.

This forum & gunbroker got me several hundred 32 H&R Mag.

Bullets? JSP @ $10/100 - if you find that PLEASE PM me.
I'd like to buy some too.
I seriously doubt you'll find 'em at that price.

I think your expectations of under $10 buck/100 for any JHP might be pretty unrealistic due to the recent shortages.

I might also rethink shooting all those different case lengths too.

Unless you just like cleaning chambers every time you move up in case length a lot.

Maybe $10/100 is a bit naive, I'm used to 9mm FMJ and plated bullets which you can get for less than that (granted you have to buy at least a thousand, or 3750 of Montana Gold for that price), but $17 seems like a waste for 100 bullets.

Also, I have never shot enough out of any one gun where carbon rings have been a problem for any of my 357 magnums (which normally get fed 38 special), unless there is some reason to suspect that this will happen faster in a 32. Worst case, I'll just spend a little more time cleaning the cylinder.

MBC has you covered on a heavier bullet also, but it's not jacketed. Look at the 120 grain 32-20 bullet. I've used a couple thousand of these in the 327 FM with good results. Their cowboy #6 100 gr is good for all of the other 32 cal cartridges you can load and light 327 loads. I can't comment on the short, never fooled with it.

Brass is a little hard to find. I bought many boxes of Fed American Eagle when I got into 327 and am still using the brass. I've still been seeing this ammo even during the worst part of the shortages. Grafs, Midsouth and Midway get Starline every now and then. Just have to keep an eye out.

If it isn't yet, you just haven't looked close enough yet!

That's it hakron.

For full house loads I'm using a stiff charge of Ramshot Enforcer. Its not a load in any books I own so I won't post it. A good plinker load I use is with HP-38, around five grains. This is by memory so double checking manuals is necessary, as always.

I have a Ruger Blackhawk in .327 but haven't shot it in quite a while. I have a new bullet mold to try out but it's cold here & my want to's aren't high enough up on the list to start casting in a 20 degree workshop. Maybe this spring I'll pull it out of the safe and start some testing with it. When I was shooting it regularly I found AA#9 to be the most accurate for me. I tried 296, 2400, HS6, and a few faster powders but #9 is what I settled on, 2400 was a close 2nd. Here's some picks of the bullets I cast and shot last year, or maybe 2 years ago now...time seems to get away from me the older I get. I haven't shot very many jacketed bullets through it but I checked Powder Valley and they show some 85gr XTP's in stock. http://www.powdervalleyinc.com/index.html

You will really enjoy that S&W...wish I had one. I have a Ruger Blackhawk and SP101 in 327. I run 3grs of Trailboss with cast bullets. Pleasant to shoot and very accurate.

I got my first 327 back in 2009. I already cast, loaded and shoot 32-20. The Lyman/Ideal 311316 mold drops a 115 grain gas checked bullet that I size to .313 and use in all my 327 revolvers, was 3 but I'm down to two now. A healthy charge of AA#9 and away we go.
Check with RimRock bullets in Montana for bullets, they have various hardness and several styles and great people to deal with.

Mainly I shoot 100 gr Hornady XTP's as my self defense load.

Then I shoot 32-20 rnfp's, Lots and lots of them.

Mine is just a Taurus snub nose revolver. Most accurate snub nose I have ever shot.

A Ruger Black Hawk in 327 mag is still on my want list.
Not in a Huge hurry until some one actually chambers a Lever gun in 327 Magnum.
Man that would be a pair...

Dumb manufactures... They think I want a 5th 22 cal lever gun instead of probably what would be the best match ever.

Nice looking bullets russt, how heavy are they?
The first pic is a NOE mold, I believe a #313640. It's outside in the shop & I'm too lazy to go look it up. I have another NOE mold that's a "Keith" design for the 32. Both bullets come in around 113-118 w/check & lube.
Sorry for the poor quality pics...cheap cell phone.
