Wow all that work and expense to shoot a friggin rabbit or squirrel. By the time you you resize, reform, rechamber, sleeve and cast special bullets plus the expense of dies, bullet mold and lubrisizer and what ever else you are planning on doing you will have spent enough to buy a years worth of meat and the freezer to put it in.

Why don't you borrow a 25 and 32 auto and see if you can even hit a bean can at 20 yards. And do it with the first shot from a field rest because that is likely the only shot you will get. And as suggested you could do this with a decent 177 or 22 caliber pellet pistol. No powder needed. Air is still free. Good quality pellets run around $8 per 500.

But here is a site where the owner talks about small game hunting with a 32 auto and a couple of custom single shot rifles in 32 acp and 32 long so it might give you some ideas.
