re leading--for various reasons, I have not really sorted out my load data for leading--e.g., tried various crimps, etc. Generally, I do get leading using a typical BHN 11-12 lead bullet bought commercially.

This year I expect to do a lot more shooting and will have some stronger impressions--overall, though, my favorities power for this kind of intermediate-pressure load is True Blue.
 
Out of Handloader #276 using a Ruger LCP using Winchester +P cases and WSP primers:

158 gr. Rim Rock SWC-HP-GC, 6.3 gr. Alliant Power Pistol, 1004 fps

173 gr. Lyman cast SWC, 5.9 gr. Alliant Power Pistol, 946 fps

If you decide to try Unique, let me know as I have some chrono data from my wife's 2" Charter Arms.
