These models b4 1900 in BP can be loaded quite hot tho but after a barrel or 2 it might not be the right indexation..
I don't have the bullseye, trailboss, unique here ,so it's hard to compare precisely, tho bullseye would be inbetweein A1 and BA10 for example but not precisely..
So basically y all would carry that even with a BP load?

U mean the light loads?
To carry
:what:

Seriously..why?
Urs are ok to almost hotload

I chose Iver cause of the transfer bar.
Also Mossberg Sr worked on it

I chose Iver Johnson as well for this reason. Carried an IJ .32 S&W top break or two as my only carry option for awhile. They are still guns. .38S&W would have been what so would want if I could choose. H&R, and Iver Johnson guns are actually pretty well made. They are much better than Jennings, HiPoints, and Brycos and people carry those.

The S&W Safety Hammerless actually has an internal hammer - the hammer rebounds and is mechanically blocked from contact with the firing pin until the trigger is pulled. This being so, and the hammer being unexposed, I don't believe any of its competitors are safer to carry, and none of them are better made, though the I-J and H&R revolvers are good ones.

The safety bar..
Although I agree SW was the most expensive and basically invented these da pocket guns, iver Johnson co is right behind in fame and let me remind you that because of the price they were actually the most popular with over a million units..
I didn't get it cause of the hard trigger, was the same price when I had the choice..

Very interesting thread,I wanna thank you for sharing your experience

I don't have the first clue concerning gun laws in France, but the nature of some of your posts leads me to think that you are somehow trying to skirt around the law in some way. Anonymous advice from other countries could be very dangerous.

Are there any gun clubs or other groups in France that could help you in your quest and keep you legal?

I didn't talk about France in this post.and if you re looking for crime figures, the WH is full of them

Are you thinking of one of those Webley or Enfield revolvers?

If it was a choice between that and nothing (assuming the contraption is safe to use) it beats nothing.

Concur with FL-NC. Better than flipping the bird and shouting profanities.

I have plenty of other options, but this is the gun in my back pocket while I am working- which makes it my most-carried gun.

Custom S&W .38 Safety Hammerless/ 4th model. I load it with .361" 150gr. LSWCs. The sights are tiny but are so close together that they are in the same visual plane, making them surprisingly easy to use. Trigger pull is heavy-ish but glass-smooth. I can produce palm-sized rapid-fire groups at seven yards all day long.

Beautiful piece.
These mustang grips are definitely made for our pocket 38s of that time.No doubt.4 th model is
the 38 ctg one on the barrel?
I can't upload mine I tried earlier..:fire:

I didn't think the trigger was light enough for rapid fire..
Can you shoot 3 within a 1.5 seconds with this?

I woke up thinking about the design of this SW..
Not that didn't know it but it's a beauty..
Thinking also that some people will think nothing of this cartridge 38smith UNLESS it's in a victory,a webley or a Enfield..
If we talk about 2/3 cylinders to save the day I don't think it really matters,
Do you?

The same speedloaders that fit my Charter Arms Undercover Southpaw fit my H&R .38 S&W Top Break. So they can be just as fast to reload as any modern revolver.

Interesting bro,
I ve been looking for speedloaders in 38 and couldn't find any..
Hey Kaeto,
Do you got an email ;)

That's what I'm talking about
Bro:D

BTW is it ctg model?

And please people stop comparing a little machine even though centennial , designed to kill to a stick.
Cause if you really do believe that,
There are plenty of tests situation to put u in to convince u..
