It did not have a forcing cone?! I am confused. Wouldn't it be a major mistake for the factory to let out a revolver without a forcing cone? At least a centerfire one?

Trust me, it did not have a forcing cone. I have gunsmithed on enough revolvers to know. This revolver was a gift, I would never have bought it. It stayed in my safe for a year or so before I tried it at my shooting range. I will never shoot anymore skeeter loads unless I am packing for a social occasion.
