45-90 Brass

Wasn't sure where to post this but seemed this would be a good start. I will have a 45-90 Sharps here in the near future and while it won't be for another 6 months, I figured I should try to start finding brass. I don't see anything available through regular retail, so thought I'd reach out to you folks and maybe someone will come across something one day and can point me in the right direction. Thanks!

Got myself on the back order list with a purchase of 250. Doesn't seem an individual needs that many but better than having none.

Depends on how you use the rifle I suppose. But when I got home from the Desert International match this year I cleaned up 325 fired brass.
400 is good to have on hand and 500 won't hurt

Thanks Don. I remember you saying that event was quite a few days of shooting. If I am fortunate enough to participate and compete like you then I will obtain more for sure. I should have clarified that I meant as an individual starting out and learning the rifle and load, etc.

It was 10 days. Yes a bunch of rounds down range.
250 is a good start, but you may find as you get into this a little deeper, that having more works out well, as you can plan for multiple matches in succession without having to prep and load a ton of ammo in a rush.
