A friend has a high cap 45 ACP Llama that he is wanting to sell. He says the gun is a compact. I know Llama has a bad rep but this is a good gun. I have shot it. How much should this gun sell for. He has a perspective buyer but doesn't know the value.
Thanks for the help.

Jim

A good shooting Llama .45, top-end no more than $200. Since he is a friend, offer him $125 & a 6-Pack of his favorite cerveza...
P.S. Do you know what model it might be???

I am not going to buy it because there are a lot of guns on my want list I really want to buy.

Llama .45

If the prospective buyer happens to have a boat, they're in luck. LLamas make terrific anchors! -Asa

If its the 10+1 subcompact they sold for around 275 new. If use and reliabe I would give 200 . I have one that took a little tinkering but I now have a compact 45 for carry that is dependable . Ive fired now near 1500 rounds and still going strong. The Llama is a clone of the Para Ord. old P-10 I no longer have the Para Llama fill that slot because it worked every time. Traded Para

If he gives you a good deal, why not? Most anyone can scrape up $150-$200 on a moments notice and the mini-max sub-c is a decent little pistol. I have 3 Llama's and they have all been excellent guns. If the other guns will be available for some time to come, I'd say go for it. That is one of the criteria I use when deciding what's next. Always buy the ones that will be hardest to come by first, regardless of price. Just my $0.02;)

LLama's aren't as bad as you may think.

:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:I have heard the bad rep that Llama's have, but I have one and love it. I have never had any trouble with it what so ever. My cousin and I were shooting just a few days ago with his Father. They both have Colt's and I had my Llama. They are Tit for Tat except of the additional $700 it would have taken to get a Colt. Mine is a very tight gun. The Colts rattled when shaken. I am not saying anything Bad about a Colt. They are the cream of the crop. But for the money, my Llama has been a VERY GOOD Investment.

Pssst! Lemme tell you a seekrit. Llama's are actually pretty good guns. But tell the seller it's a POS to get the price down, he'll believe you, 'cos everyone knows those spanish guns are useless. Same goes for Astra and Star. Really bad quality steel. You tell 'em that and you get a steal :)
