They have steel frames, which would be heavier than the aluminum frames of the rest of the M9/92 line-up, and that frame mounted safety lever won't have a decocker, so if you want to shoot from double action, you'll need to pull the trigger and manually lower the hammer.
I know competition guys do that all the time with their CZ's, Tanfoglio's, and now their Beretta Performance series guns, but as a 1911 guy, Condition 2, is a place where I never go with my guns. I'm just not a fan of manual lowering the hammer on a live round. On a DA/SA gun, I like having a decocker.
They are also near the top of price line within the Beretta line-up.
