The Lewis runs about 700.00 now. By the way, all of these are 32 cal.
The Mouzon which I think has the best trigger runs about 400.00.

KuchTgtSmall.jpg Here are two of my targets. Both 98s. MLAIC Kuchenreuter event - 13 shots, drop the low three. No sighters. 25m.

The gun is a .36 caliber underhammer by Andy Baumkircher.

Fixed.

Aw, Come on Mike, I want to see them. Say, did you read the "Pistol Shots"
article in the lastest issue of Muzzle Blast by my old buddy Mike?

That wouldn't have been written by Mike Venturino, would it?
I blame him for a lot of my interest in BP. I was only interested in modern cartridge arms when I started reading his articles on big bore revolvers and BP shooting.
It's also where I learned about cleaning BP with vinegar Windex.

Or, am I wrong about which Mike?

The article was written by Mike Luma. It's not bad, though I admit that I don't shoot the unlimited guns. My time and efforts are completely absorbed by N-SSA and MLAIC shooting, with air pistol for the winter.

Pietta 58 Remmy, RB and 27 grains 2F holy black, shot from rest off hood of vehicle at 25 yards.

Now that is some fine shootin. Both post. Mike, I think yours on the right
would make a 100 on our regular targets. Real fine shootin. Thanks you both
for posting.

I'm very impressed by all the guns and targets in this thread. I think it goes to show that it doesn't matter how you achieve the propulsive pressure for the bullets. Cartridge and smokeless or separate black powder and ball/bullet matters little compared to the shooter and the quality of the gun used to send the projectile downrange. And we're obviously seeing the higher end of both in this thread.

Darn, makes me wanna get out and shoot.

Too many projects around the farm lately.

I bought a TOZ 22 two years ago and only got it to the range once.
It looks alot like my Yazel 10X

I also have a flint Lewis pistol and a Perc Lewis pistol.

I don't generally like Ardesa stuff for serious target shooting, but they have an underhammer listed on their web site that Traditions apparently doesn't offer in the US. I was wondering if anybody has handled on of them and how much they are. I know the Carlton isn't cheap.

If you want a serious underhammer pistol and don't want to try the custom route (either Andy Baumkircher or Tilo Dedinski), Feinwerkbau makes an excellent one.
