the 195 grain RamLoks from big Iron turned in a couple of respectable 50 yard groups. I was sitting with my back rested and using my knees for a rest
Truth. In the first six, I felt myself heal a couple high and found them on the target above the group making a figure eight. I went back and shot two more alibi rounds and then covered up the called fliers for the picture
No excuses here. This is a pretty amazing cluster for a caplock revolver.
Oddly enough, the standard bigiron/Gatofeo wads that worked so well with traditional bullets and ball didn't prevent fouling buildup with these. I used alighter charge with the new double thick wads did but took up a lot of powder space. This was a short session, but it appears these bullets get about 100 to 200 fps more velocity without any wad at all.
