Iam permanent resident, with a permanent resident card.

Reason iam asking this is, when i made thread about....5-6 months ago. it still required Alien firearms license even you are permanent resident/Green card holder.

So i guess law has been changed??

i can finally go hunting:**:D:D:D

WOW dude! Where have you been? I am 13 guns older now since they changed that law.:D My last purchase was a Mosin from aimsurplus I took home yesterday.

***? this is not new?? hold on, let me find my old thread.

Because all the other members told me i need Alien firearms license even green card holders.:cuss::cuss::cuss: lol

and i don't think i saw that part who need license and who does not when i was reading before.

so, just make sure. even i saw it too. I dont need that license right? :banghead:

Correct.

If you have a greencard in WA State, you do not need an AFL anymore...

Otherwise we would have started a new thread on the court case... but that never happened.

Queen G signed the paper work and on July 26th it was a done deal.

Apr 25 Governor signed.
Effective date 7/26/2009.

Summary:
The alien firearm statute is repealed and new requirements for the possession of firearms by non-citizens are established. It is a class C felony for a person who is not a citizen of the United States to possess a firearm in Washington unless the person is: a lawful permanent resident; a non-immigrant alien residing in Washington who has obtained an alien firearm license; or a non-immigrant alien residing outside of Washington who meets certain requirements.
