American Reloading

I just went on the site. Seems a little too barren in products and a clunky site; however, they are not asking for debit cards and crypto. Call and email them.

Americanreloading.com is indeed legit. I have ordered stuff from them for about 5 years. Never had any problems. I have used the Midwest and other powders they sell for years Again, never any problems. They may not be slick but they are honest! I have no affiliations with them or any other retail outfit. Best wishes!

I have ordered from them a half a dozen times in the past year without issue. In the past, they have had some great deals on 9mm projectiles. And those Fiocchi primers are legit, both small rifle and small pistol.

They are one of my go to reloading suppliers for the past 8 years or so.
Another for surplus supplies is Pats Reloading if they have what you want it usually is a great deal. They used to have lots of pull down stuff for sale but I have not checked lately.

Jim said they were out of the 6000 ct boxes.

Web site says its out of 3000 ct boxes and has 3) 6000ct boxes left.
Is that not right?
3000ct is 70.00
6000 is 58.00 big difference there.

Hi Jim,

I've received everything I've ordered from them and was satisfied with their shipping and products. I think the last items I ordered was some WC-747 powder and some off brand primers (Genex or something like that). Both worked as expected. Without much load data available, I had to do a proper workup.

Regards,
H1

I ordered 6000 yesterday, after staring at the primers on their website for about a week.
Looking forward to receiving them and trying them out.

FWIW, as crow flies, they are maybe 15 to 20 miles from Lake City Arsenal. My guess is a big part of their supply is pull down and surplus components they get from LC. Also about 40 to 50 miles or so from Sierra bullet, so may be buying in bulk from them and reselling. All speculation on my part, but plausible.

I asked once and they are strictly online. They have a physical address east of Kansas City, but have no retail store there. Is what it is.

Is American Reloading legitimate?

They have Fiocchi primers at prices less than recent increases on US brands.
I've bought thousands of dollars worth of products from them over the last few years. The shipping isn't the fastest, but it's free on everything. I had an issue with an order of thousands of bullets being a pound light once, they refunded me the difference same day. My previous subsequent orders of bullets were all right on, or slightly over.

They get new lots every 2 or 3 weeks, check back. I've done it 4 times now. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Well, my 3000 order is placed, by the time I have shot those, who knows what the supply chain will look like.
I still have a pretty good supply of WW and the recent buy of Federals, too.

Yes, American Reloading is legit. Fiocchi Primers work ok. I've used a few thousand of them. We used to see them at gunshows pretty cheap.

I have spent many thousands of dollars with them, but my last two transactions have left a bad taste in my mouth. I placed an order for 1,250 .308 110gr Varmageddon bullets, as well as 2,000 100gr .312 FMJ blems. I opened the package several weeks later (yes, my bad) and the .312 bullets were nowhere to be found. I emailed them, and they responded that they were backordered (they only had 2,000 when they went up and I immediately bought them) so they issued a refund.

A short while later I received an alert that the .308 194gr Lehigh Maximum Expansion was in stock, so I bought 4 of the 15 lots available, to the tune of $420. 15 days later and I had still not received a shipping notification, so I emailed them, only to once again be told that there had been a system malfunction that allowed people to buy something that was not in stock. Again, they issued a refund.

The complete lack of communication about these supposed backorders, and the fact that they were both extremely rare bullets to find on their site, not to mention that I had ordered powder just to use with these projectiles, really left a bad taste in my mouth. I have not ordered from them since. If you do, be vigilant in making sure you get what you pay for.

Mistakes happen, as you learned, always check packages immediately. It took me until last night to get a....here's your tracking number email,
although it's not good yet, just .....in the system.

Suppliers are very busy, so patience is needed at times. American Reloading doesn't over communicate, I'll give you that. :)
