I bought two on Black Friday. But I have a CHL so there was no NICS check.
So add two more to the total!

Ha ha, no! No worries. You can have as many as you want. Hundreds? Thousands? Not a problem! What is this in op about the number of long guns limited to 30?
Is this right?
Some states choose to opt out for carry permit holders if their permit requirements meet a certain standard.I thought every ffl sale required a background check? I have a CC permit, but still have to do the NCIS check, but the state pays the $7.50 fee.
Hey thanks for the list Sam. Nevada is on there, didn't realize that before. Lots of recent changes, but its always been a gun friendly place. Some states choose to opt out for carry permit holders if their permit requirements meet a certain standard.
Here's the list: https://www.atf.gov/rules-and-regulations/permanent-brady-permit-chart
The number breaks down to slightly more than two background checks per second, or enough firearms to arm each of the 182,000 active duty members of the United States Marine Corps.
He's probably the greatest ammunition salesman too.Obama era gun background checks, greatest firearms salesman in history. 12,709,023 NICS checks in 2008 lets shoot for 25,418,046 in 2016 so he will have contributed to a doubling of background check.

Sam is correct, I was trying to say 30 long guns on a single form 4473, then you would need a second form but you can buy as many as you want. And that could have just been the policy of my local FFL but that's what I was told, not that it ever came up. Most I ever bought at once from a dealer was 6 or 8 I think (gotta love when the Police trade in their confiscated items for new service weapons).Ha ha, no! No worries. You can have as many as you want. Hundreds? Thousands? Not a problem!
I THINK the OP was referring to how many firearms you could buy from a dealer on ONE form number 4473. (Seller's record of transfer.) The instructions on the form don't actually list a maximum number. The form has five blanks for individual guns but then says the dealer can attach another piece of paper to record however many more are being transferred.
So you are totally ok! Come on over!
