I bought wolf 7.62x54r at the gun show last weekend and I also bought some of this unknown (to me at least) brand.

The label says
7.62-Tz- 184/57-bxn
tbpl/Ms XII-67
20ks Nctp 1,2x0,5 / 1,2-KFnma 2/55 3.13g

I know its not metallic but is it corrosive? Not that I'm afraid to shoot corrosive on my 44 and 38 but its good to know. The price was about $2.99 per 20 rounds.

Now if I could just squeeze some time for the range.

edited to add - it's yellow tipped.

As a heads up, some Wolf was corrosive too. Look for headstamp "LVE." All was supposed to be recalled but some got through. AMHIK :banghead: "Wolf" headstamp is NC.

Appears to be Czechoslovakian.

Tz= tezkou (the 'e' and 'z' should have little 'v's atop them) : heavy spitzer ball
tbpl=tombakovýplech : gilded metal clad
ks=kus : piece, unit, each
I think 'bxn' is the factory code. Not sure about the rest.

Thanks for the replies, just curious where these ammos were made.
