What's the point of the sharp edges added to the bottom of thr trigger guard? Seems like under recoil they could bang up your support hand index finger.

Normally, I think there's as much need to customize a Glock as one would a hammer, but in this case, I have to say this is a great job! I really like the stippling on the trigger guard, looks quite useful.

Nice work!

Customer Requested it that way, i like to do it rounded and smooth so it blends into the rest of the firearm, but the customer gets what they want.

What is the purpose for the texturing on the bottom of the trigger guard please?

Was the trigger guard also reduced at that point?

Thanks!

The texturing under the trigger guard is suppose to be like a memory groove for you support hand, its suppose to be an aid to assure a correct grip. and yes the trigger guard was reduced at that point as requested by the customer.

Nice work. The butterfly is a nice touch. (for a girls pistol. )

Hah, yeah, they aren't always right but customers do supply the money.

Looks like quality work.

Nice work; I especially like the stippling though if it were my gun I would go with a rounded trigger guard.

Looks like it's actually going to be a "blister groove" rather than a "memory groove".

I don't like Glocks, and would never spend money customizing one, but nice work you did there none the less.

Nothing wrong with Glocks but I don't see the point in trying to make one pretty. It's like putting lipstick on a pig; the bacon is still tasty but what's the point?

Im not so sure the intent was to make them "pretty" yes the butterfly was some flair but stippling I have found very useful after a combat shooting course in the rain. The undercut is nice for people who get glock knuckle. I would say its more towards utilitarian.

Most glock mods I see are truly functional. Grip work such as reductions, stippling, undercutting trigger guards is all about function. So is adding top cockin serrations, etc. These mods may not be absolutely required and depending on how one uses the gun they may not really provide any benefit. For example top cocking serrations on a range gun that will never see malfunction drills are going to provide precious little in value to that owner. They aren't even essential for such drills but they make them easier and more sure. The point is these are mods done for function not to make a glock pretty.

It seems that most people who poo poo them don't seem to really understand why they are done. I don't view them as essential but I do find value in many of them thus if someone has the $$$ to add them for the marginal increase in value then good for them.

I would suggest that those with limited funds spend their money on quality instruction and ammo over hard fit barsto barrels, top slide serrations, etc. When the gun is a limiting factor the I'd revisit what modifications make sense.
