I agree with the comment about extensive ballistics tests, or at least target tests. How accurate are these things? What kind of groups are you getting?

I mean, if you call them Rosebuds and people end up with inconsistent groups they ain't gonna sell for long, but if the groups are excellent you can call them crappies and still sell them. When it comes to accuracy, a rose by any other name don't smell as sweet if it don't hit the target.

How much do the dies and swaging equipment typically sell for? Or a box of bullets? Any thoughts to having molds made for casting? They look interesting as hell, and with the larger ring to shave more lead seems like they would be accurate. Does the skirt expand on firing to take the rifling? Do you have pictures of fired ones to see exactly what they do?

No images, and no molds possible with this design, swaging ONLY item. Yes, the mild hollow base DOES obturate, and yup, they shoot for me, in old design. More variables than this though, and findin the right load is always tha point, cause ball or bullet, if ya drive it wrong with a loading it dont like, it wont shoot and these are no different.

The local cops trust me with guns out here. I shot twice at "people" and got the drop on a guy once.

They know I'm not out to kill anybody, so they don't even flinch when I tell them what's going on. They just advise me to claim "I was just trying to stop him.", if something becomes necessary.

But I spent 22 years in the marine corps and was armed frequently.

Well, I asked a Deutschlander friend of mine about Schneckenhaben. He said something like "It exist as how you write it not. Haben is a own word. Schnecken is cochlea maybe." I think he meant snail, not cochlea. Babelfish says it means snail, anyway. So apparently it doesn't mean anything in German German, other than "snail have." Which is not to say that the kraut in question is unfamiliar with other dialects, just that the one I asked is.
