Reliable? Do they actually have the parts they advertise?
thnx

My understanding is they are a machine shop business and the firearms parts are a sideline. Hindered by the recent covid mess.
I bought a 4” VH for my DW .22 from CZ.Eric made some custom springs for me for a pork chop Dan Wesson several years ago for a member of this board who lives in a different country. I sent the guy the springs and he was very happy. Also if the danwessonforum.com is still active he can be found there. There are many people there that will vouch for him. Also CZ-USA has some revolver parts still in stock possibly. I ordered a new 6" .357 barrel from them just a couple of years ago.
Their website doesn't offer DW barrels or shrouds. Just small parts. And the parts are either in stock or they are not. Nothing about a waiting list.,Does EWK still maintain a waiting list? I remember that's how I got my 4in. heavy shroud barrel. Took a few months but I knew that when I signed up. Several years ago and I don't remember the actual order and payment details so must have also went well.
I'm interested in an eight inch stainless barrel, in case anybody has one. I went to an extremely "meh" gun show yesterday, but Dan Wessons are in short supply.
Yes, I'm looking for an eight inch barrel (model 715; stainless) and shroud in 357 magnum. I watch ebay and gunbroker, but it's an unusual item. CZ stopped making the gun and don't stock what I need. You didn't mention what chambering. The .357's are most plentiful, and, in fact, can still be ordered from CZ. Other sources would be GunBroker, eBay, and the classifieds at DanWessonForum dot com.
If you are looking for something more esoteric... good luck. I've been looking for a .41 DW barrel set for 10 years.
