Anybody heard from Frank since the other mess went down? I have a suppressor on transfer and he's not responding to text's, calls, voice mails and the couple of times I've been to the shop it's been closed.

Not sure if this helps, I found it off an older post....

Again, there are 400 tickets, at $25 each. And, my cell number is (615) 668-5345. The only way to win the gun is to make your donation through me. Any donations given directly to FoNRA will not apply.

Thank you,

Frank

My mailing address for donations is:

That seems to be part of the problem - he's not answering his phones, email, and the shop is closed. Contact info and address is no good.

For what it's worth, he also has an account on Livejournal. Just checked his profile real quick, and it seems he hasn't updated in about 19 weeks, but he could have posted to some of the various communities he's a member of. Those interested in getting in contact with him might want to drop by the communities "guns" and "guns_etc" and ask if anyone's heard from him.

My friends and I checked on him this weekend. His phone is back on. He is not having a good time and is laying low to regain peace of mind. He should be back with us shortly.

Oleg - I admittedly have no personal dog in this fight, but it is worrying to see the way that he's treated some of his customers. Is there any way that we might be informed a bit about what's going on? I think we can all totally understand when someone falls on hard times, but so far there really hasn't been any public notice of what the situation is, and for some of us who were thinking of doing business with Frank in the future, it's somewhat worrying.

I think a lot of us just want some reassurance that what he's going through is a bona-fide situation, and not some sort of dirty-dealings gone wrong which have him laying low.

Guys, let's not be so quick to trash our own...

Heck - when I buy a new competition rifle, if I have it inside a year, I'm generally happy (last rifle, paid for the action at a Supershoot, it was eventually delivered to the gunsmith, all the other parts added, and I got the rifle at the next Supershoot).

Franksta does good stuff, and that ain't instant. If it was instant, it'd get sold down at da Mall, in the store next to all da Shoes.

Bogie - in all fairness, this isn't exactly about items simply taking too long to show up. From the multitude of posts I've read, Frank has been ducking people, or if he's not purposefully ducking people, he's sure been hard to reach. Couple that with multiple customers with outstanding orders, group-buys with nothing happening, etc, etc, and people start to sit up and take notice.

As I stated in my reply to Oleg's post, I don't have anything personal in this fight - but I was planning on sending some business Frank's way as soon as I'm able to. I've seen him post both here and on Livejournal, and I've never had a problem with him - however, the current happenings have made me wonder whether dealing with him is such a great idea after all.

I think that all those of us who are following along with this are asking for is answers. If Frank is experiencing some personal issues, that's one thing. But he does run a business, and he does have customers. And those customers deserve to know what the hell is going on, ya know? If you run a business, you should have a plan in place to deal with situations like this, so people don't start thinking you're a flake or a charlatan.

Got a call-back from him today. He took a week to refresh his mind...turned off the phone and did his best to just rest. He's not had a vacation in a year and a half. Over the next week, OEV_VET will catch up on his backlog of obligations. I have transfers to do, those will happen next week also.

Now, Oleg... While I have your attention for this microsecond, since we're all pretty much seemingly moving faster than the speed of Einstein on espresso...

Can I do a run of the classic Peace Through Superior Firepower?
