Anybody used a Phoenix kick lite stock?

I see an AK with a Phoenix kick lite stock for sale. The kick lite stock appears to use a spring within the stock to help absorb or control the recoil. It looks like a good system, which begs the question why don't most semi auto rifles or shotguns use that type of system. Any thoughts about - or experience with - a kick lite or other recoil reducing stock?

An AK is not a hard kicking rifle as is. pretty tame , even mild. I see know need for it even for a 8 year old from a bench.
