I'm thinking of trading up my Savage MKII/Bushnell scope combo (the kind you get at Cabela's) for a CZ 455 American combo (the one with the .17 HMR and .22 LR barrels) and am wondering about scopes.
What would be a good scope for covering both calibers? I'm not familiar enough with the differences in ballistics between the cartridges (I do know that .17 shoots flatter and is less vulnerable to wind) to understand what I'm looking for.
I do know that I'll have to sight in the rifle with each barrel swap, but that's not too big of an issue. It'd be nice to have a rifle that would cut through Parma Woods' windy days.
Ideally, we keep the scope in the $120-200 range.
