Are non-leather gun belts squeaky?

Ok stupid question, I know.
I need a new gun belt. I like leather, I've researched and found a couple leather belts I like. As much as I like leather, it squeaks. While I can address this with a little talcum powder between the belt and (leather) holsters. That irritates me. I spend good money on good leather. Then have to rely on a perpetual stop-gap.
I can get a Wilderness Trainer CSM locally, for a good price (Is the titanium version worth it?). Not a big fan of nylon or especially velcro.
However, if it's not going to squeak and creak against my leather holsters...maybe...?

Nope, no squeaks... at all. I love the buckles too, adjustable to the absolute perfect fit. I use the 5.11 brand, but they are all pretty much the same

I have a Wilderness "Frequent Flyer", no squeaks with a kydex holster and double mag pouch, leather holster, or nylon holster. They are great for the price you pay!

I've not found silicon spray to be as effective as talcum powder or gold bond or baby powder. Also, I've had silicon spray soften leather. That's actually why I'm replaceing my current gun belt.

I've looked at the various non-leather belts out there, I just don't like them. The Volun (sp?) looks good.
The Spec-Ops, actually, is a nice simple design. If the webbing were thicker, it would work.
I just don't want a belt that has to be dismantled to thread through belt loops, holsters, etc...
I loathe velcro, the thought of that tearing sound every time I want to take a leak, meh...

I'll stick with leather. I guess I'm just biased, I like leather.

Thanks for the feedback, take care.
