It how they function that matters. I have tried several grip styles which cost me quite a sum. But in the end, the Tyler T option turned out to be the best for me. It offers not only the best control of the firearm but also conceals well. My suggestion? Try to handle a revolver fitted with a T. Maybe one of your friends has one. You might just be surprised how good it feels in your hand.
Was watching the US version of the TV show LIFE ON MARS (about a modern day police officer waking up as a cop in 1973 NYC), and had a minor revelation.
I think I am trying to travel back in time with my T-Grip equipped S&W 642, but thus far it doesn't appear to be working. All I get are smirks on the faces of the 20-something-year-old nuggets that think I've been on the job a little bit too long.
On a serious note, please keep the pics of t-grip equipped guns coming.
Perhaps this could be the begiining of the T-Grip Club?
I have an M&P 340 and have read that the K round butt T grip will work on a J frame and even extend down further than the "size 1" for the J frame. Before I order mine from Tyler, can anyone post comparison pics of the two sizes on a J frame?
been a fan for years, because even with my large hands there really isnt another grip that feel/works as well as magna's and a t grip, must have 30+ guns with them, others have some rubber or fancy crap
I just put them on my 4" model 28. It has the skinnier magna stocks on it. Now with the Tyler grip, my medium size hands can control the recoil much, much better.
seems like some t grips fit better than others fromthe pictures. I have one for my model 10SW. but the bottom doesn't fit the grips very well and the curve at the top does not seem to be the same rqdius as the gun. It I line the top up the t grip sticks out at the bottom. If I line the bottom up there are gaps behind the trigger guard?
On says tyler t grip and the other says SW. but neith fits very well.
I agree with you on that! The older Tyler-T's seem to fit the gun they were intended for pretty good. The newer ones I find to be a hit or miss.
The Python I have pictured above has a T-grip on it designed for Detective Special. The Tyler-T (one I have) actually made for the Python fits so badly it looks like junk and it doesn't feel good in the hand either.
