I have a few model 70's that I have had the rifle and reciver rogaurd coated and the bolt and trigger/internals done with the standard np3 both finishes have held up very well including trigger mating surfaces

I had a Sig P226 coated with Np3 (silver colored) back in the early 1990's. I traded the gun off at least 15 years ago, but the owner states it still looks and functions great. Np3 is good stuff!

Stay safe.

I have an HK P7M8 that was NP3 coated a few years ago. thousands of rounds and it looks like the day it came back from Robar. I also had a sig 239 that was NP3 coated that I sold after a few years that still looked great.

If you want a matte silver finish, there is nothing better than NP3 (or NP3+ if you want the added corrosion protection).
