Hey guys, long time no visit but I got one to look at here
A friend of my sister owns this one and wants to it's value and other info. It has been in her family since the turn of the century at least from what I am told.
I was looking at two of them last night in Maine (1849 Pocket .31 caliber). One had a 4" barrel, the other was a 5" or so barrel. The 4" barrel gun was selling for about $1400 and the other one closer to $1700 (they both had been marked down from a thousand more per gun). They're in great shape with the cylinder scene still visible (you can see it on yours, too). Check Gunbroker or Auction Arms to see what they're going for. Or check Flaydermans Guide to Antique American Firearms.
Great gun - someday I'll have one.
