I suppose that if used carefully and judiciously in the right places, some real fine sandpaper wouldn't hurt anything. I just don't want to encourage some to think that they must pick up some sandpaper and go to work on the bolt, receiver rails, etc in order for the thing to operate properly.
All it should need is a good cleaning of the heavy rust protectant from all the metal surfaces and several boxes of stout loads to break it in. Many autoloaders don't break in well until they've had a few hundred rounds put through them.
