What's the difference between a Beretta 92FS and a Beretta M9?

I've looked at them both several times and didn't note any differences besides different sights and the "property of US government" on the side of the M9. They may have a different finish.
 
Non slanted dust cover on the M9, and no "read the manual" billboard on the dust cover either.

Alsosome may have aluminum grips.

Other than that they are the same gun, so far as I can tell from the info I've seen.
