Beretta 92

Two totally different platforms. Personally I prefer something striker fired or dao , with no external safeties, thus I love my glock. But I'm about to buy a 92a1 cause they're sexy, fun, cool, and I'm not nervous about reliability with a tac light.

OK, I actually have handled both the xdm
and multiple Glocks.
I was messing with a Beretta 92fs last night
and I didn't like it.

I thought it was funny because most of the replies seemed to be heartfelt, qualified evaluations advocating the Beretta, and with little fanfare, you shifted to a totally different gun, disregarding all the positive recommendations. You basically shunned or ignored any validation the responders gave the Beretta. Sad and ironic, but darkly humorous. But, that is life. Both handguns are great guns.

Well, everyone thanks for the replies, but
after messing with the Beretta I didn't like it.

What didnt you like about it?

FYI, theres like a dozen different variations of the beretta 92 and most have the option of a different types of operation(i.e. FS, D and G models). Its funny when people dog on the 92/96 series but they only know of the FS models. If you like a constant trigger pull, they have that option(D model). If you like a smaller, straight backstrap, they have that option(Vertec). If yu like SAO, they have that option(Steel-I). If you like DA/SA but dont like a manual safety, they have that option(G model).

Truth be told, there is a beretta 92/96 out there that every gun owner would love.
