Ive been browsing buds guns for a cx4 storm. Can anybody tell my why the model that takes 92 mags is over a hundred dollers more then the other model? I have a dozen or so 92 mags kicking around. I cant justify spending that much more then the basic model. Is here a way to modify the basic model to except 92 mags?

Because that's the model people want. Supply and demand.

There is a kit for the CX-4 that you can install to use either PX4 mags or 92 mags. I bought mine directly from Beretta. Youtube has videos of how to change them out. Not at all difficult.

Yup, I got in on that 92 deal. Rail, two mags for $619 cash. Plus tax of course.

I've had a couple issues with mine though. First the plastic trigger group cage cracked, and now I'm getting chambered but no primer hit on occasion.

The adapter has been mostly out of stock for a year. Availability is so bad that Sierra Papa is considering offering one themselves. My particular Storm carbine in 9mm has been very good. The trigger is somewhere between awful and horrendous but it doesn't really affect my ability to shoot it well. It has been reliable and accurate, and right now it's my primary HD/zombie gun (set up with a light and RDS, 18 and 30 round mags loaded up and at the ready).

To me the Storm has a lot going for it. Maybe the best attribute is compactness- it's only 30.5" total OAL. Very short! If I hold my HK USP out at full extension the end of the barrel is around that same distance, maybe a little farther. It's pretty easy to dump a 30 round mag basically through one big hole with the Storm at typical handgun distance.

It was just recently in stock. I should know, I keep going there and keep almost ordering it but then stop and ask myself why?

Surprisingly accurate and mine has been 100% reliable.

Now if they would only make a 357sig version, hot little round out of a 16" barrel http://www.ballisticsbytheinch.com/
