Berrys 124

I've loaded and shot about 20K berry's 124 plated (and/or xtreme 124) over 4.6 Unique, and about 20K over 4.2 WST at 1.14-1.15" OAL. I went through 12 lbs of WST but I've run out. Loading W231 now, 4.2 grains. All work great.

May I ask what gun you are shooting this load with?

German P226 primarily but about 10K through an M&P CORE 9L. Also works fine in FN Hi Power, Glock 19, Beretta 92fs, P225, P.38, Beretta PX4, and probably some others I'm forgetting.

Berry's 124gr HBFPTP over 4.3gr of W231 is very accurate in my G34 w/S3F barrel. Just under 1100fps, SD is in the single digits.

I've shot all the Berry Mfg products for 9mm, and their Hollow Base versions are definitely more accurate in my pistols.

Before jumping to 147gr, you might try the 130 and 135gr listed under 38 Super.

I had some (250) of Berry's 130 gr. when I 1st started reloading. Don't remember how accurate I was with them. May have to revisit them.
Hodgdon does list load data for the Berry's 130 gr. in 9mm.

The Berrys 124 target HP is my favorite 9mm bullet. I load them with 3.4 grains of 700x for my LC9s which has shot a couple thousand of them. Larger frame pistols generally won't eject that light of a load so I have another bucket loaded with 4.0 gr 700x.

I need to try them against the X-Treme 124 Gr HP and Powerbond 124 Gr HP that shoot very well for me. The Powerbond will handle 1350 FPS in the .38 Super and shoot very well. Haven't tried the X-Treme at that velocity.

The Berrys 124 Gr Target HP looks different than back when I tried their 124 Gr FP, HBFP, and just plain HP.

The Berrys 124 Gr HBRN-TP is a good bullet, and $78.40 per 1K is a great price if shipping is reasonable.

I have had really good luck loading Berrys 124 rn over 5.2 grains CFE Pistol, with an average OAL of 1.140. Anyone else have a load similar with different powders, etc. That has done well for you?

I've loaded thousands of Berry's 115 at 1.140 as well over 4.5-4.6 of W231. Been thinking of going to either RMR or Berry's 124 lately, but what I have works across 3 pistols.
