Pretty much what the title says. There were several firearms on sale at my FLGS. Just curious what everyone things is the best deal for their hard earned dollar.

I have roughly $400 to spend after my most recent purchase andd saw all these great deals at my FLGS.
TBH I don't " need " another gun but ...well...you know how that goes....

Anyways this is what's on sale currently at my FLGS and I guess the SR9c and PPSm2 caught my eye the most as far as " savings " go. I value the diverse opinions here so I thought what everyone else thinks would be a good deal over all , regardless of the purpose behind the firearm.

All seem like great deals, except maybe the Creed seems only average. I eliminate thumb safety/mag disconnect lawyer inspired guns so my top 2 would be:

1. CZ P10c
2. PPS

I voted Walther PPS M2.

Because I get the impression you want a Compact or Subcompact 9mm.

However the pistol I'm actually spending $265 on is the Canik TP9SF One Series.

Jesus! I remember when the PPS went for $600!!!

today I'd buy a S&W 9VE sigma thing they have out now if I were in the market for a low cost service caliber pistol of full size.

I think the Ruger SR9c is the best buy for the money. Well designed and constructed, it's one of my favorite compact 9mm.s.

I voted for none of them because I’ve had terrible luck with one of the guns. (Ruger ec9s) and no experience with any of the others.

Also I can’t get myself to buy a budget gun that I might need to protect my family with. I usually save an extra month and buy a Glock. Maybe that’s not the point of this poll because all of the guns are probably great for a range gun and training. It is good to see so many people like the SR9c though. Because of the feedback here and the fact it’s been around a while, I would consider it for a back up.

I bought my wife a stainless SR9C when they first came out and it has been a great gun.
It is a pleasure to shoot, very easily concealed and came with a second higher capacity magazine and grip extension making it a really nice larger overall size. To top it off, the gun really looks good.

The EC9 may be a good gun too, but to me it just looks cheap and feels like a toy.

I don't know enough about the Walther's to comment.

I can't say that I have ever laid hands on any CZ that did not impress, but still go for the Ruger for bang for the buck.

No Modifications at all.
This one has to be mounted from the side first, sort of prying one jaw outward while slipping it over the other. Once in place it locks up tight with the lever.
If yours is identical to mine, and you still cant get it, pm me. I can give more details if needed. Mine fits perfectly.

Honestly there wasnt more to the poll other than to see what everyone thought would be a great deal for the money based on what was out there. I checked out several and got to handle many of them. I ended up getting the stainless ruger SR9c for $249.

Also as a follow up. I did decide to get the berreta 92fs ( on sale $499) as it felt better in my hands and I got a great deal on it. Not the best pics, Sorry. 20200103_142147.jpg 20200105_152719.jpg

What does the SD9VE do the SW9VE doesn't? 2 lb lower trigger pull?

I like the Canik TP9SF so far. Nothing wrong with essentially a Walther P99 with essentially a PPQ Trigger for $250-300.

Nothing wrong with that. Some people like the SR9C lack of a defined break and some don't. The 92FS fits some people and others they don't. They are both very fine pistols. They also allow you to practice with very different trigger pulls. When you can fire DA/SA Double Taps from the 92FS to the same point of impact you know your trigger control is where it needs to be.

I have no idea what you're talking about.

I thought you were referring to the SD9VE spawn of Sigma Gen 2 (SW9VE). IE "9VE Sigma thing". I just meant it's essentially a late 20th Century Design and they're are better options now.

Don't take that the wrong way as my SW9VE has many thousands of rounds through it (lost count years ago) and I just put 250 rounds of FMJ + 50 rounds of JHP through it this morning. Still shoots the 10 ring out at 10 yards and has never broken a part and if it has had a non-ammo related malfunction I don't recall it.
