Big Rock seemed to be involved with S&W special editions when it comes to their big bore revolvers.

Based on the S&W website, I cannot see any differences except for the bear prints on the revolver.

Are there any technical differences that you know of?

The special edition doesn't appear to have cylinder flutes... which makes a whopping 0.5 oz difference if the specs can be trusted.

Which they probably can't, seeing as S&W has "cm" listed as a unit of weight.

I'm sure the bear paws have been scientifically placed to reduce recoil as well.

well, I don't know about internals but I do see that the Big Rock version has a non-flutyed cylinder which made it .5 oz heavier. Thats all I can tell other than the printing of course, could be more on the inside though.
