Great poll idea, but you forgot "What gun for SHTF" That one is like a broken record.

Honestly, a book on how to farm, make clothing, a working sewage system, etc are much more practical. Yes I understand you have to keep looters away, but you can't just shoot your way back to a comfortable way of life.

I think I groan the loudest when I see SHTF or TEOTWAWKI. Most of the hardcore survivalists I know don't talk about their personal or family preparations. They just go about their business.
I have seen several peoples signatures that say their survival kit is a high-powered rifle and a list of people who post their survival gear lists on the web. Ain't that the truth?
I just think their are too many mall ninjas who troll the forums.
