I traded SPP's for these bullets with plans to shoot PP matches this year at my local club. The pistola is an FN 509 MRD FDE w/RMR 3.25 dot. My loading is 3.7 gr of 231 and plunks fine. My concern is if there is enough thump to knock down full size pepper poppers and racks of 8" plates.

Winchester says 3.6 to 4.2 for a 135 LRN and the recoil is very manageable @ 3.7. Leave alone or work up to 3.9-4.0?

Tagging in since I have some on order and will need to do the load workup when they arrive. I shoot the Blue 147 .356 RN at local matches and wanted to see what the 124 and 135 recoil felt like for minor PF.
A chrono would be able to guide you better, if you don’t have access to one then a range day with poppers and plates would give you an answer. Good luck.
