Just saw this video and I have to say it’s an interesting idea.

A lever action AR 15 Lower that takes after market Remington 870 Buttstock and uses standard mags and standard bolt face. Just block the gas port on the upper you attach and you’re good to go!

It would take first place in any "ugly lever action rifle" contest by a wide margin. Sorry. I won't be a customer. Too old and set in my likes and dislikes I suppose

.I see this as about like making the wheel into an octagon. It can be done but it's going to look strange and certainly not operate as well as the old design.

I know, the firearms industry has to introduce new things to keep interest up and profits flowing even if the new things don't get the job done any better than the old.

I'm going off to watch B&W TV.

Dumb question: Why plug the gas port?

Assuming the BCG is specific to the lever action lower it may or may not cover the end of the gas tube. If that is left open every time you fire it will be blowing gas back into the action and your face depending on how well sealed up the back of the receiver is.i

Nope, POF Tombstone is worse.

In addition, if we look at the previous AR-15 lever conversions, they weren't all that tasteful. Sure RedRydAR came with a wood furniture, but it was clearly grafted on with a minimum change. This one has more engineering in it than FightLite SCR.

Lever edges are too angular for my taste. Cool concept. Very ingenious to make it compatible with 870 stocks. $1500 for stripped down gun is a stiff price range.

1500 Is a hard nope for me, but its a really cool idea, and if that lower was available at 500 id seriously consider it.
