Buck 119

IDK a Buck 119 seems like an awful lot of knife for gutting a deer to me.
I get that. But I don't have to carry a hatchet to break the pelvis bone on large deer. If I decide to cut out the anus instead it is long enough to do the job cleanly. It also cuts through the ribs well. I suppose it doesn't matter on small deer in most states. My nephew uses a smaller knife very well but I don't have his skill.
I am not certain how it can be too much knife But I know others agree with you.

That's exactly how I put a 119 to use on deer. It's the only tool needed to get one ready to butcher.

Congratulations, the stock photo is very nice. Looking forward to some real pics and hope all is well with you and your hospital stay.

I don't under stand why I have never own a buck knife fixed blade. I love the design. I don't know how many deer and elk I have dress with a 110 but is is a lot as I have lost count. Beautiful knife by the way.
