Buck Vanguard

I have a chance to buy my buddy's Buck Vanguard knife for $40.00. It has a wooden handle but sheath seems kind of cheezy. Should I buy or pass?

Seems fair if you like it and he didn't try to sharpen it on a bench grinder.

Looks like they make a bunch under that name....Buck Vanguard.

$40 seems to be a buy.

look them up on E-Bay (if the show any) and see what they are asking for them.

This is one of my favorite knives, not to big, and well shaped for my purposes.
$40 is a good bargin. If it's not abused. Buy it or let me buy it.
