Buddy of mine carries his Ruger LCP in a Remora holster in his back pocket. Anyone else carry a bug gun in their back pocket. He said it's a great place to carry a bug, as his main gun ( CZ-75 PCR) is on his hip with an IWB holster.
Never known anyone to carry like that. Seems a bit time consuming and cumbersome to get at real quick.

On the rare instances I've carried a BUG, it has been either small of the back or left side pocket.

The problem that I encountered with most holsters when used in the back pocket was that even "Back Pocket" holsters showed the butt of the pistol. I wear business casual most of the time, and I can't have a gun showing.

I pocket carry a Rohrbaugh R9 in my front right pocket. I also carry a Remington RM380 in my left back pocket using a back pocket holster from Kevin's Concealment Holster:

The holster completely covers the gun. Anyone looking down into your back pocket only sees a leather wallet. The gun is kept on the weak side, you draw the entire wallet out of the pocket with the weak hand and then grab the gun out of the wallet with your shooting hand. I tried carrying in the right back pocket but if you do that, you have to take the wallet out with your right hand, place it in your left hand and then use your right hand to take the gun out of the wallet

It's not fast to deploy, but for me I cannot risk having a client or a client's employee see a firearm - period.

My most commonly carried ones are.

I briefly owned a Colt .32 Pocket Hammerless with a patent hip pocket holster. The original owner ran a hardware store, the pistol in his hip pocket under an old fashioned storekeeper's smock. He once broke up a robbery with it. In a one or two man store, sitting down on the job was not a factor.

Sadly, most people that can carry find it too much to carry even one gun.

I'm a proponent of carrying extra ammo over a second gun unless you're carrying a J frame and such.

Winter time clothing allows a decent choice of second guns, summer time clothing not so much.

Sitting on a gun sounds as fun as sitting on a George Castanza wallet. Ymmv.

My bug is usually in ankle or belly holster. I quit carrying a wallet years ago and my back has thanked me for not sitting with something in my back pocket.

I've carried several PPK sized automatics in my back pocket for over 30 years. Never once been id'd. It is a wee bit slow, but it gives you the chance to best an armed robber who thinks you are reaching for your wallet. Blue jeans, shorts, cargo pants etc

So you have a BUG in your back pocket. What happens in a QCB situation when you get knocked ove onto your back? I do not carry a BUG but if I did it would be in my front right pocket because it is each to reach and i am ight hand dominant.

I dont carry a back up much anymore. Glock 26 when I do.

For the past couple of years, Ive had a 22mag NAA Mini in my back pocket, in a Desantis pocket holster behind my wallet. I don't really consider it a BU, but more of a novelty, "Noisy Cricket" sort of thing for when Im with close friends and we get to talking guns and the question comes up "what do you have?". :) Not that it wouldn't work should it be needed.

And there's always this for annoying the anti gun relatives at Thanksgiving.

In that situation, you'll be lucky to get to anything in a pocket quickly enough for it to likely matter. ;)

Most of how you carry anything is you figuring out how it works best for you. Ive carried different sized guns in most places and a lot of places a lot of people probably haven't even or wouldn't consider. Proper gear and proper guns will give a totally different experience, just to the same person.

Pockets for the most part have never worked for me. The little Mini, and maybe an old Baby Browning I carried in the past were the few I didn't have too much issue with. I don't even carry my Seecamp in a pants pocket. The Mini I forget it there most of the time.

One thing is for sure, with all that's available to us these days gear wise, if you cant find some way to carry "anything", you are trying too hard "not to". ;)
