Bullseye Pistol

That kinda jives with my previous statements of being able to push HBWC with baby powder and still get good groups at 25 yards.

Any comments on the difference between shooting slow fire at 50 yards on the bigger target vs the reduced target at 25? I don’t have access to a 50 yard pistol range but I imagine they’re similar in difficulty. I’ve done it sitting at the bench on the 50 yard rifle range but it’s not the same as standing in sure.
The 25yd target is reduced in size so it appears to be the same size as the 50yd target. Apart from your point of aim, shooting the 50yd target is the same as shooting the 25yd target, just more intimidating.
If you can't shoot at 50yds try a 50foot NRA B-2 target.

Improvement seems to show up as little hints of what is possible, then a year or so later I might be able to do it on purpose.

Trying to keep a good thread going. I pulled the red dot off my 22 and went back to iron sights. I can’t really tell too much difference. I shot the red dot for a while. I suppose I should give the irons a bit longer before I really make a call.

Where are you holding your sights on? Six o-clock? Deep six? Navy hold?

Pops built a gov rig w Bomar rib on an old Essex frame.
Chucked in the Ransom rest and it was all X at 25.
Buddy wants me to try Bullseye and I don't have a 1911 at the moment.
Wish pops had kept that one.

I shot it well (2 handed LOL).

Yea I’m about to put it back. The dot is in my Sub2K now but I don’t like it there. Im doing more rapid fire now so my scores are down no matter what. It’s difficult to judge my performance compared to using the RDS.
