Burris?

Anyone like the burris xtr ii 8-40x50? How is it at 1000 yards on 40 looking at a target? And clarity at around 25? I liked the idea of having 40 just to look far off even if it isn't as clear as something that cost 2 or 3 times as much.

40X on any scope/spotter is going to rely heavily on good conditions.

That said, we need folks who have them who can comment on how they compare to other similar scopes used for long distance.

I too am interested in the answers.
