Got mine last Feb. Most of the guns I buy are made before '69 so it works for me.
No requirement for you to turn in a list of purchases. You may be referring to your Bound Book, but you do not turn that in when you let your 03FFL lapse.... It is nice to have but it you ever do not renew it, you have to send the atf a list of what you have bought in your c&r. ...
On the renewal application, it says if you let this license laps, you have to send in the records of what you have purchased on this license. I don't think I misread that. If I have and wrong. You'd think (I would, at least) that with all of the extensive (automated) customization of these renewal forms that it would be easy for them to include "line-out"s of such inapplicable sections/references.
<sigh> A "business" renewal form that has such instructions added for the benefit of the 03FFL licensee has been "modified" for the 03FFL licensee.I didnt say they were modified, I said there are instructions pertaining to which sections/questions to answer, and which to not answer. ...
