Caldwell 'The Rock' Shooting Rest ?

I was looking at a shooting rest other than sand bags or socks filled with dried beans.

I would like something fairly simple that will support both my AK-47 and my Colt 1911 handgun.

The 30 round magazines for these AKs are pretty long, so I need a shooting rest that will go up high enough to give clearance for the AK magazine. I will also use this rest when using the scope mounted on my AK.

With that ... what do you think of this cast-iron shooting rest:

I love mine. Use mine for long guns and not sure about AK's
