.40 most of the time. I've been known to carry a .45 now and then, and I'll carry a 9mm if I can find a really smaller pistol than those that can be had in .40.
How can you have a pole with the .22LR and .25 listed yet leave out two of the more popular CCW rounds, .40 S&W and 357Sig? That probably excludes at least half the people here.
.45 STI Ranger II, 9mm STI BLS9 and a S&W 325PD (it's a S&W getting an action job right now), but I am waiting on a 2.5" S&W 66-1 and a 2.5" S&W 19-3 that I'll stoke with some 158 LSWCHP 38 special loads after I get the appropriate action lightening done on them if need be.
I've got a 6" 66-5 that is going to be sent to get cut down to 3 inches, turned into a round butt, converted to moonclips, complete tune up with a DAO action job with bobbed hammer and brush hard chromed.
Mostly 9mm in a S&W 6906. Yeah, I have a bunch of other guns/caliber/rigs but the S&W and it's rig are the most comfortable for me. If 25 rounds of Gold Dot 115grainers weren't enough to solve my problem then don't blame the gun or the caliber. Blame it on me.
I can't have a CCW because I live in Nazi Jersey but if I could I bet a CZ52 with the two rounds of vest busters followed by HPs would be under the front seat of my car.
