Candidate Gun Grades?

I only look for this once every 4 years.. so I don't remember anymore..

But didn't one of the associations, GOA, NRA etc.. put out a "Gun Grade" for all the presidential election hopefuls?

If someone has it, please post it..

Here it is. Huckabee and Paul throne above the rest. Thompson is not the gun guy some people make him out to be, he flipflops on anything he is paid to change his opinion on.

Wow, Huckabee really strikes me as a solid Gun Rights guy. He is my solid #2, and one of only 3 canditates out there I could vote for without holding my nose.

GOA has Presidential Candidates' 2A stands

Both GOA and NRA produce a grade for national candidates, and some state candidates. I have not received the lists yet so imagine they are not in yet.

GOA has the Second Amendment stands of all the Presidential candidates.

well it looks like its gonna be between Hillary and Il Duce so your best bet is to vote libertarian and hide out until 2012.

Huckabee is probably the best gun guy, he's my pick of the candidates.

Just to stir the pot a little here,but you folks taking the sit it out and wait for the next election,or waste your vote on an unelectable 3rd party make me sick.4 years is plenty of time to lose your RKBA.And funneling money to a weak,compromising NRA is even more ignorant.Look,we as ordinary citizens have thwarted the immigration bill twice,by just our voices.Yes our elected officials like all the money the NRA shoves in their coffers,but they want to be around to spend it.And they won't be if we send them the message that we will make them unemployed if they so much as think about touching our rights.So remember,no vote for a "viable" RKBA candidate is like 2 for the gun-grabbers.(the vote you didn't cast and the one their anti lackies did)

i bet this thread gets locked.

in any case, gun owners often vote single issue with gun banners. some of the issues gun banners use to get gun owners to vote for them are:

unrestricted abortion
government enforced mandatory unionism
more welfare of all kinds
etc

and than you have the purists who will not vote for a candidate unless he is perfectly aligned with your own views. IMO, it is better to get 50% of what you want in a candidate, than zero.

When considering voting for President let's all consider what are we voting for?! Just because someone calls himself a Republican does not mean that he is a Republican. When voting let's consider what the differences between the two opposing candidates are. If they are similar on everything but foreign policy (with one of the candidates holding a more extreme view of foreign policy), what are we voting for?! Just a name?!

What about the issues of personal freedom, civil liberties, federalism, etc? We need to take a hard look at those first tier candidates and stop voting for names (Republican or Democrat). As far as I know, some Republicans of the past, as well as some running now are worse offenders compared to some of the Democrats.

No jerkface11,I'm commenting on voteing for non-viable candidates like Ron Paul or claiming to set out this election and try again in 2012.And just to show how non-viable a 3rd party is,the libertarian Paul is having to run as a republican just to get recognised.
