Indeed... I do need to get me one... however... no can do at the moment. At present I'm trying to talk myself into a new fishing reel and a rod rebuilding kit. We're having an ongoing arguement over it right now. (Damned voices anyhow)

Blasphemy I tells ya!!!! :cuss: Someone get a rope! :what:

Here are a few I just took. Just received the Lemat revolver last night. Going to strip it down tonight and get all the factory grease off and do it proper. I have some treso nipples for the Walker........... do they make a set for the Lemats as well? BigBadGun will be doing a custom carved holster for the Lemat as well to go with my Walker rig. Will get that tracing out to you this weekend ;) Thanks

Congrats on the Lemat arriving !! Good lookin' gaggle of irons ya got laid out there. Hmmm.... 'spose I should include a couple of knives in my pix too. My pride and joy is a knife my father made for me. The blade is an old bastard file, the handle is ivory and baleen and the brass cap for the handle is from an old outboard prop nut (brass)... the Inuit have been "recycling" for ages. The sheath he carved from birch from one of the surrounding villages near Kotzebue, AK.

The one with teh finger grooves was a gift from a good friend and the longer one is my first knife. A acquantaince had a original native american scalping knife. I made a tracing of it and went form there. The handles kind of rough. Have thought about redoing the handle with some real nice wood and haveing a sheath made for it.............. for my Walker-Lemat rig of course ;) Thanks much :D

I've posted this before I think but I still kick myself daily for not capitalizing on a Le Mat deal when I worked for Cabela's. A customer bought a Le Mat, took it home and fired it once, returning it when he decided he didn't like it. Well it ended up in the bargain cave for about a week. When we had our Employee appreciation night everything in the bargain cave was 50% off! Yours truly missed out on the Le Mat by about ten seconds. Another poor addict got to it first. I did get my Walker so the evening was not a total loss. Some have told me a should have whacked the fellow over the noggin with a canoe paddle, but I'm a peaceable gent and at the time was satisfied with a almost NIB Walker.:)

I'm just finishing my third box of RB on the LeMat and no problems with the nipples. The hammer fall for the shot barrel is very short so you don't get full hammer energy. I carefully sand down the face of CCI nip's for the shot barrel and I'm getting 100% reliability.

Is your LeMat a Navy or Army model?

Ok, I'll play along....

Done this here many times before but off we go!

Uberti '51 and Replica Arms '61 Navy .36s

Mr. Walker.

The whole family! Uberti Walker, Uberti 2nd Model Dragoon, Uberti SS Remington .44 NMA, Pietta Remington .36 Navy, Uberti '51 Navy .36, Uberti '61 Navy Civillian .36, Replica Arms '61 Navy London .36, Colt 2nd Generation Army .44, Pietta Army .44 that I stripped the finish off. I stripped the red glossy finish off most of my Uberti grips and have them just oiled wood now. Looks much better in my opinion.

Seems like me and Jaeger are the only ones displaying the stars and bars.............

Sorry, hate to be Mr. Picky but it's one of my biggest pet peeves! That's not the "Stars and Bars". The flag you have displayed is either the Battle flag or the Southern Cross. It's never to be referred to as the Stars and Bars.

The Stars and Bars is the First National flag, this one and this one only!!

Like I said it's just a huge pet peeve of mine being the huge Civil War geek that I am! :D:p;)

However, and to get back on topic, I totally envy you and your LeMat!! It's gorgeous! Really cool, I've always wanted one but have yet to add one to my collection. One of these days!!

Yeah I know thats a bad habit of mine ;) As for you all winning the war....... well I figure we are just re-grouping :D

Phantom Captain,

I like that loading stand. What diameter copper pipe did you use for the barrel rest part?

Glad you like the LeMat , good pics you took too , nice possey of guns !

As far as the Stars and Bars goin on here , who gives a rip what its called , Rebel Flag , Confederate flag , Stars and Bars , blah blah blah , at least were flyin it . It rides on my pick-up truck too in my window in a VERY Democrat , pacifist , gay whale lovin no tree cuttin , anti nuke State , and I enjoy every minute of flyin it . :D And of course that is the side my heritage resides on , and fought for and is still fighting for. :) ............My Grand daddy told me once , " it aint about hate son , tis about Heritage and whats right and wrong . We was never slave owners son , we is Indains . Southern Indians . Bein told what we cans and cants do is never right son , thats why we faught " :D

Nice pictures everyone , real nice :D

Das Jeager :)

While I cannot claim southern independance as my heritage (all of my ancestor fought mounted infantry for the union) lets just say my sympathies lay with the southern cause. The South produced some of the finest generals the war ever saw..................

So here is my entire .36 caliber collection. Top '51 Colt Navy made 1852, next Colt Brevette, then 2nd Generation '51 Navy. Ratty gun at bottom made in Georgia some years ago. Think the entire Army of Tennessee marched over it.

Yup. Product of Macon, Georgia, CSA 1864. Wife calls it "that ratty pistol"

In spite of all the problems the South had getting metal, this one has, I believe, a steel cylinder.
The frame is cast of a copper-zinc-tin alloy that is right smack on for what today would be called "Valve Bronze", 88% copper, 6% tin, 4% zinc, 1.5% lead, a.k.a. "Navy M', or "Steam Bronze", UNS C92200 (Unified Numbering System . . . unified only in the United States)

Nice pics JamesKelly
