My local gunshop has 10mm ammo for sale for $37 for 50 rounds. Looking to buy about 200 rounds of range ammo. Any sites that are better than other's with regards to price and dependability? Or is $37 a good price?

Thanks

That's about what commercial ammo goes for. You can get Blazer aluminum, but I have had multiple cases crack in 10mm.

Your local gun shop is getting rich! Try Wal-Mart. Other sports type stores lately have been selling 9mm for about $10/50 when on sale. Wally World won't cost you more than $13 right now.

"...is $37 a good price..." Kind of depends on the brand and bullet weight. Midway, wants $17.99 per 50 for S&B 180 grain ammo. However, most 10mm seems to come in boxes of 20, not 50. 50 rounds of Federal 180's runs $35.49.
That'd be plus shipping, of course. Shipping and any Hazmat fees will negate any cost savings found on line. Your local guy isn't buying by the truck load either.

The only 10mm ammo I've seen in 20 round boxes is defensive ammo. Range ammo is always in 50 round boxes from what I've seen.

How much does shipping run you?

Thanks thats a cool site
They are about an hour down the road and have a table at all N GA gun shows. I generally pick up at shows. They make good stuff, but I've never looked at shipping. But even with shipping that has to beat $37/50.

I've seen (and purchased) Sig Sauer 10mm 180gr FMJ ammo in the $19-$21 per 50 round range.

Where shooting the 10mm in volume is concerned, the secret to saving $$$ is called reloading.

You can thank me later. ;)

If you want commercial from established company google S&B 10mm ammo. SG ammo had is for <$15 per box of 50. Hard to go wrong with price like that.

Sounds like a good deal. That works out to less than $19 a box.

Guess hazmat, shipping, etc. was not all that cost prohibitive after all, LOL.

Let us know how it shoots, I've never shot that out of my 10mm and might be interested in picking up a few boxes.
