As distressing as it may be, the US is about as close as you'll get to that ideal.
A few places like Canada and Switzerland are sometimes called out as having one or the other singular benefit that "beats" current standing laws in the US, but that universally proves to be a very hollow and incomplete island of win in a sea of lose.
Sometimes it's tempting to say that it would be worth moving to one of those countries in order to take advantage of that one detail. Like, if you moved to Canada you could own a 14" barreled shotgun without having it be an NFA Title II weapon. Or if you were a Swiss citizen you could, at least up to a point, own a (one) full-auto assault rifle and keep it in your home. But comparing that against the vast weight of practical 2nd Amendment freedoms we enjoy here and ... well, you've got to REALLY want that one (1) government-issued assault rifle, or that (perhaps) unregistered SBS.
