Yeah, I came up with the same kinds of things too.
The barrel is clearly marked as 18 1/4", and the 'old school' (or just old) part
of me thinks that Browning would not have put the tighter choke on such a short barrel.
But what do I know?
This was an impulse buy, the gun really does not look to be fired (internally) and the price
was to good to pass up.
