Christmas stuff

Hopefully better then last year, or the year before.
But I'm not holding my breath

All I got to show for Xmas the last couple of years is a little over $1,000 dollars in sales receipts for the kids and grandkids gifts each year.

And a couple of $25 gift cards for McDonald's & Chilies in return each year.
And I don't hardly eat at either place.

They seem to think there is nothing left they can get me, or afford, I don't already have, or need, or want.

Could be right, I guess.

a .22 LR youth dedicated for them, as they can not afford what I want/need and I'd never put that on them…("need" being the operative term, and yes that" "can not" being two separate words).

Amen brother. Dad always gets hosed. My wife rocks, but unless we drop HEAVY hints (meaning printed pages, emails, etc. - and isn't it mostly or always on our dime anyway), there's no joy in the reception department. Mine comes from the the look on their faces on Christmas morning (and the few I happen to buy for myself)

See if they will get you a gift certificate for Wheatfields in Lawrence. Much better than those other two places...

Normally I'd ask for peace on earth, but seein' how that ain't ever gonna happen so there's no sense in wasting a wish, I sure could use some .22 caliber cleaning patches.

OP, I see that you mention reloading equipment. I don't really trust the majority of my family to get me reloading stuff because they tend to get the wrong things. How about a gift certificate for your LGS? I know when I get gift certificates I am always happy. I might not know exactly what I want/need when I am asked, but when I am standing in the LGS with a gift certificate in my hand, I always find something I want/need! Plus a lot of the big box stores like Cabelas and Bass Pro let you get a gift certificate emailed to you. The nice thing with that is you can purchase online if there isn't one of the stores local to you.

I tell my kids to give me an EXACT list of what they want. Brand, model, size, color. Where to buy.

I did Christmas shopping for five adults in less than an hour last week, all from my computer.

I do the same thing. Exact so there's no guessing. I don't get a lot of stuff, but I really don't care. I have more crap than I'll ever use in this lifetime

One thing I did figure out were steel reactive targets that will handle up to 30-06
