Thanks guys. I really like it. Fit and finish it really good. And that set trigger....just WOW. Action is very smooth. Only problem is I can’t mount the front globe on it because it requires a very small Allen head that wasn’t supplied with the sights (dumb). I cannot wait to get everything mounted and shoot it. Not sure if I like the tang sight or not. It seems to blur the front sight (yes it mounted correctly). But I’ve never shot with one. So I’ll give it 50-100 rounds before I make a decision.

It has a front blade sight if I want to go that route. But I’m not sure how to mount it. There’s nothing to secure it to the barrel. It’s a close fit. But it slides in one side and slides right out the other side. I think I’m missing something. I’m just not sure what.

You'll need a set of metric allen wrenches for that front sight set screw. Get the globe slid in to the dovetail, so that its pretty well centered and tighten the set screw. You may want to gently peen the top of the dovetail on each side down just a tad to help hold the sight in place.
Also don't dry fire without a snap cap or such in place, that'll kill a firing pin in nothing flat. Leave the hammer down and set your trigger and then pull the front trigger in lieu of dry firing.
If the eye cup on the tang sight isn't one of the adjustable Hadley type, so you can open the aperture to a larger hole, you may need to open the hole with a drill bit. You need to be in good sunlight to see clearly thru the tang sight.

For quite a while, it has not made a difference if you buy Pedersoli or Uberti. Uberti supplies Pedersoli the raw actions and Pedersoli heat treats them and does the case color hardening. Pedersoli now supplies Uberti with barrels that they make in house. I looked and researched the rifles and I bought C Sharps 1885 Hi-Wall.
